Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Canaan, Connecticut
Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Canaan, Connecticut. This role involves managing all general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly close. The successful candidate will be adept at using various accounting software systems, Microsoft Office Suites, and handling detailed document procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Enter Purchase Orders into the accounting software system
• Handle customer billing and prepare deposits when checks come in
• Manage invoice entries into billpay and oversee invoice payments
• Conduct bank reconciliations at the end of each month
• Oversee Accounts Receivable inventory reconciliations
• Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable
• Perform monthly close procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a large contracting account in accordance with established procedures
• Utilize various accounting software systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook to complete tasks
• Perform other bookkeeping functions as necessary to support the team.
Requirements
