Description
We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced PC Hardware Technician for a contract assignment with our esteemed client in Cape Girardeau, MO! The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing personal computers and hardware within the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist with installing and setting up PCs and related hardware.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware issues.
Perform regular updates and routine checks to optimize system performance.
Collaborate closely with the IT team to ensure efficient system use.
Provide user support and training when required.
Maintain a record of repairs, fixes, and scheduled maintenance.
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in PC hardware repairing or similar roles is preferred.
Expertise in desktop operating systems, and various software applications.
Solid understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to manage complex hardware troubleshooting issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize appropriately, and meet deadlines.
