Description
A successful retail business in Carlsbad, CA is currently seeking a detail-oriented Part-time Bookkeeper. This is the perfect position for someone seeking flexibility and a part-time schedule in a vibrant, fast-paced setting. As a Part-time Bookkeeper, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of core accounting functions, including recording routine financial transactions, budget tracking, and financial statement preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Recording and posting financial transactions in the general ledger.
Reconciling bank and credit card accounts.
Managing vendor relationships and processing vendor payments.
Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and year-end closing processes.
Requirements
A.A.S. in Business Administration/Accounting preferred.
Familiarity with GAAP.
Proficiency with QuickBooks.
