Robert Half Cash Application Specialist in Carlsbad, California
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in Carlsbad, California. As a Cash Application Specialist, you will be part of our dynamic financial team, where you will be expected to manage cash application processes, maintain accurate records, and resolve any arising issues.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently handle the cash application process.
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records.
• Address and resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments and customers to resolve payment issues.
• Monitor customer accounts and conduct regular account reconciliation.
• Utilize NetSuite software for daily operations.
• Support monthly close procedures and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Analyze reports concerning credit and overdue accounts.
• Assist in audit and financial statement preparation.
• Work closely with the sales and customer service departments to ensure all financial data aligns. Requirements • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with CyberSource is a plus.
• Should have strong skills in Data Processing.
• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is essential.
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures is required.
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Billing Functions is essential.
• Familiarity with Cash Activity management is required.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Proficiency in Cash Applications is required.
