Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Lead budgeting processes and perform monthly budget-to-actual variance analyses.
Develop, monitor, and manage financial systems and policies ensuring compliance with acceptable accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Perform complex accounting duties involving preparation, evaluation, and management of financial reports and statements.
Mentor and assist in the training and development of junior staff.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Accountant, preferably within the non-profit sector.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
