Description

Our client in Carlsbad is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent hire. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of the company's financial operations, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

· Manage and coordinate the annual budgeting process

· Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management

· Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff

· Ensure compliance with GAAP and financial regulations

· Manage and coordinate external audits

· Perform other accounting duties as needed

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

· Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required

· Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong leadership and management skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
