Description
We are currently in search of an experienced and highly analytical Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Carlsbad. The successful candidate will have impressive experience in multiple aspects of accounting and holds a robust college degree in a related field.
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements and reports to outline the company's financial position.
Handle general ledger operations and assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
Manage tax computations and returns – working closely with our tax accountants and auditors.
Conduct periodic audits and assist with budget preparation.
Explore financial anomalies and resolve any discrepancies.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and accounting-specific platforms.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
CPA certification is a plus.
