Robert Half International Human Resource Coordinator (45-55K) in Carlstadt, New Jersey


Robert Half is working with a well-known global consumer product brand find a proactive and diligent Human Resource Coordinator. The role of the Human Resource Coordinator is managing certain HR processes and completing administrative duties for the HR department, while assisting the HR Director with various initiatives.

The foundation of Human Resources is the strong, consistent, and efficient delivery of HR administration and operational support activity. The HR team has day to day responsibility for administering the processes that record and retain accurately and comprehensively all employee related information held by the company. This team also plays an active role to ensure that we are equipped to attract, retain, and manage our employees to achieve exceptional results.

The scope of this role is extremely broad and involves frequent interaction with people from every function in the company (as well as external vendors/partners), who are based in Carlstadt, NJ; Greenville, SC; (as well as salespeople working in their home offices throughout North America). .

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruiting process

  • Post jobs on Linkedin (work with a recruiter occasionally)

  • Review resumes

  • Conduct initial screening

  • Schedule interviews

  • Administer psychometric testing

  • Assemble offer packet

  • Assemble new hire packet and welcome basket

  • Background check, drug screening, reference checks

  • Schedule onboarding meetings

  • Submit new hire/term paperwork

  • Manage the firms Linkedin site

  • Plan annual company meeting

  • Plan annual Christmas party

  • Research team building activities for departments or organization as needed

  • Ensure safety compliance

  • Work with safety manager to ensure compliance

  • Update town hall slides and present on monthly call

  • Anniversary, welcome & farewells, remind for questions and recognition nominations

  • Partner with ACH and ADP Canada to do payroll

  • Maintain employee data base for changes or adjustments

  • Partner with HR Director on wellness initiative

  • Plan Annual Wellness Day

  • Plan monthly wellness activities

  • Assist HR Director with Benefits

  • Update census report

  • Update files and test files for open enrollment for US and Canada

  • Manage group reporting



· Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations

· Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills

· Awareness of and able to handle sensitive/confidential information

· Time management/organizational

· MS Office, email, and other related software

Your Experience:

· Proven HR administration experience in an environment dealing with end-to-end employee lifecycle

· Project management, seeing things through to completion

· Bachelor’s degree or certified in HR

· 3+ years’ experience in HR

· Event/meeting planning
