Description

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Carmel, California. In this role, you will be responsible for full cycle general ledger accounting, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and managing deadlines effectively. You will need to be comfortable with learning new software quickly and adapting to changing tasks while maintaining focus.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee high volume accounts payable and receivable

• Handle incoming invoices and ensure they are approved by the relevant department

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports

• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the CFO or Controller

• Utilize your skills in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various tasks

• Be prepared to learn and adapt to new software quickly

• Handle account reconciliation tasks effectively

• Ensure accurate data entry in all relevant systems

• Process invoices efficiently and accurately

Requirements

• Bachelor's or AA degree in Accounting or related field desired

• Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)

• In-depth understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with account reconciliation and data entry

• Knowledge of billing procedures and invoice processing

• Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Strong communication skills for reporting financial information.
