Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in the bustling location of Carol Stream, Illinois. You will be joining a team where your primary responsibilities will revolve around personal injury cases. Your key role will be to assist attorneys in managing insurance claims, preparing various legal documents, conducting relevant research, and maintaining effective communication with clients and partner law firms.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the management of personal injury cases by ensuring all pertinent information and necessary documents are collected and organized effectively.

• Handling insurance claims related to personal injury cases, including filing, negotiation, and settlement processes.

• Drafting a variety of legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and other pertinent documents.

• Conducting comprehensive research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to provide support to the legal team.

• Preparing for settlements by filing necessary documents with the court and providing assistance to attorneys.

• Maintaining regular communication with clients, witnesses, expert witnesses, and partner law firms to gather and confirm essential information. Requirements • Possession of a valid Paralegal certification.

• Proficient knowledge of Personal Injury Law is required.

• Demonstrated experience in Personal Injury Litigation.

• Must have the ability to handle Insurance Claims.

• Strong research and report-writing skills are necessary.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy.

• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
