Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Carrollton, Texas
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Carrollton, Texas, United States. The successful candidate will be part of our team in a bustling industry, where they will handle a variety of tasks ranging from vendor setup to disbursement processes.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating with various offices while running disbursements including checks, ACH, credit card occasional wires
• Conducting a thorough review of what needs to be paid, focusing on vendors and the disbursement process
• Facilitating vendor setup and handling 1099 forms (W2)
• Participating in weekly disbursement reviews and positive pay
• Assisting with cash flow forecasting from a disbursement perspective, particularly focusing on payment schedules throughout the month and quarter
• Collaborating with procurement to conduct analysis and pull data
• Assembling a disbursement run for proper approvals
• Utilizing NetSuite and other ERP systems to streamline the disbursement process
• Employing skills in Account Coding, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accrual Accounting, Auditing, and Automated Clearing House (ACH)
• Ensuring all accounting functions are performed accurately and efficiently Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required.
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is needed.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
• Ability to perform a variety of Accounting Functions.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP).
• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is necessary.
• Auditing skills are highly desirable.
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a plus.
