Description We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Tester in Carrollton, Texas. This role is integral to our team, focusing on advanced software and system testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for integration and acceptance testing of Security Computer Systems and various other software and system components. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing customer and stakeholder requirements and transforming these into test documentation.

• Developing and maintaining test plans, procedures, and reports.

• Conducting manual execution of test procedures, exploratory testing, regression testing, and performance testing.

• Identifying and documenting software and system defects, while also reviewing software defect trends.

• Recommending process improvements and new approaches to enhance software and system testing processes.

• Configuring and using lab equipment and components used in the test environment.

• Participating in cross-functional project teams to represent the test engineering team.

• Adhering to all related software and systems engineering processes and procedures.

• Utilizing skills in Atlassian Jira, Bug Tracking, Automation Test, Business Requirement Document, and Test Cases.

• Performing other duties as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira

• Proven experience in bug tracking

• Strong ability to perform automation tests

• Comprehensive understanding and ability to work with Business Requirement Document

• Expertise in creating and executing test cases

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
