Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Carrollton, Texas

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Mortgage Companies industry based in Carrollton, Texas, 75006, United States. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and interpreting financial information. This role involves working with large sets of data, building models with multi-state/multi-entity, and utilizing tools like Excel and Essbase.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large sets of data to assist in decision-making processes.

• Construct and manage sales forecasting models to predict future sales patterns.

• Use MS Excel and Hyperion Enterprise to manage and interpret data effectively.

• Develop financial models to simulate different financial scenarios.

• Utilize your skills in Forecasting & Modeling to provide comprehensive financial forecasts.

• Collaborate with other team members to compile and present data.

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to deadlines.

• Use your expertise in Essbase to handle complex financial data.

• Assist in the creation of strategic plans by providing financial insights.

• Continuously improve and maintain the financial modelling process. Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred

• Have significant experience in financial analysis, preferably within the mortgage industry

• Proficiency in using financial software such as Hyperion Enterprise

• Excellent skills in MS Excel and ability to use it for complex financial modeling and analysis

• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines

• Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and guidelines would be advantageous

• High ethical standards and integrity in professional dealings.
