Robert Half Paralegal in Cary, North Carolina
Robert Half is recruiting family law Paralegals with 2+ years’ experience in the Raleigh area to a join a well-regarded firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of domestic relation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed.
Assist attorneys in all stages of domestic relations matters
Organize trial exhibits, witness lists, filings, etc.;
Legal research and cite checking
Assist with case management
Database management of all relevant documents
Calculate Support numbers using statutory guidelines
Work with clients to prepare financial affidavits
Organize and electronically file pleadings
Coordinate and schedule calendars
Draft, redline and analyze complex legal documents
Bachelor’s Degree/paralegal certification and/or relevant work experience
2+ years of legal experience, ideally in family law
Experience with calculating spousal support
Experience preparing financial affidavits
Citations/Bluebooking experience (preferred)
Legal drafting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
