This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Cary, North Carolina area but you can sit remotely any where in the country as long as you're willing to work west coast hours. We are seeking Senior Project Managers to manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan in their new position. Major responsibilities

  • Ensures that the functional requirements are tracked, achievable, and met

  • Watches and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Initiates project planning

  • In charge of deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Dev Ops, and Product Owner- In collaboration with the Product Owner/Product Manager, you will facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

  • Serves as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - leading scrum ceremonies, clearing obstacles and ensuring the team is working effectively

  • Fosters help to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Supplies detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status

  • Sets forth the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Creates project with correct ticket workflows and boards

  • Works together with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Helps to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

  • Support the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Works with and communicates with technical team members, designers, stakeholders, and developers

  • Facilitates the daily stand-ups, ensuring they are timely, focused and brief

  • Acquires information from technical leads, QA leads and business analysts into counsel

  • Time blocks and presides the sprint planning and grooming meetings and follows ticket assignments

  • Creates schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

  • Cooperates with Product Owner/Product Manager to assure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are evident and realistic

  • Cooperate closely with the Product Specialist, QA Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner/Product Manager

    Requirements - The person in this position should be flexible and focused

  • PMP Certification experience

  • Agile Software Development experience

  • Strong familiarity with SAAS

  • Background in project management, operations, and supervisory leadership

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

    • You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant Project Management experience

  • Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

    • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

    • Proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools is required for success at this position

    • If you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies, you can succeed in this position
