Robert Half Sr. Accounts Receivable Accountant in Cary, North Carolina
Description Robert Half currently has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional at an expanding Pharmaceutical company. In this role, your responsibilities will include entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. This quickly growing team is searching for a self-starter to join the accounting team! Paying close attention to detail, you will process full-cycle AP and handle multiple invoices per week. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is a permanent position in the Cary, North Carolina area.
Major responsibilities
Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department
Handle a range of basic accounting tasks using standard procedures
Process payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
Post and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accounts
Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required
Confirm documents and codes are correct
Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced Requirements - High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Relevant experience in accounts receivable
Efficient in ERP systems
Adeptness in S/4HANA
Proficiency in Monthly Bank Reconciliation
SAP HANA experience
SAP experience
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Knowledge of account reconciliation
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
