Description
Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our client in Hayward, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing budget reports, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost forecasts and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost reduction initiatives. Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies or errors.
Provide support for financial analysis and decision-making.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
