Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Cedar Park, Texas
Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry located in Cedar Park, Texas. The position will largely involve data entry tasks and handling purchase orders within our ERP system. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and requires an independent thinker who can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain detailed and precise customer credit records
• Handle customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Enter purchase orders into the ERP system (Viewpoint) with attention to detail
• Display a solid understanding of debits and credits in account reconciliation
• Utilize basic Excel skills to sort, filter, sum/ifs, create pivots, etc.
• Perform invoice processing and coding invoices tasks
• Exhibit the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Demonstrate independent thinking and decision-making abilities. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis tasks
• Experience in executing accounts payable (AP) processes
• Knowledge of account reconciliation methods and practices
• Familiarity with invoice processing and coding invoices
• Ability to handle purchase orders effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
