Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Description
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in Cedar Rapids. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to accounts payable in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a great opportunity to work in the manufacturing industry and apply your skills in account reconciliation, data entry, invoice processing, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Review and process invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Perform data entry tasks associated with invoice and general-ledger
• Reconcile credit card and bank accounts regularly to ensure accurate financial records
• Generate purchase orders when necessary for business operations
• Obtain and print signatures on all checks to maintain financial security
• Assist senior financial officers as needed with various tasks
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer credit inquiries
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
• Familiarity with Check Runs is essential
• Ability to handle Coding Invoices is needed
• Strong Data Entry skills are required
• Previous experience in Invoice Processing is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Familiarity with ERP systems is required
