Description Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a background in relational databases to fill the role of a Database Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and developing database architecture. If you consider yourself an authority on query writing and love developing systems, this may be the Database Developer position for you. This Database Developer position will be a permanent opportunity based in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.
What you get to do every single day
Develop, code, and implement relational databases
Supply documentation and training to the Database Administrator. Also, provide training to other users when requested
Generate an efficient method for storing database data in the future
Create a database schema based on application-related function and data type Requirements - Database Performance experience
Database Migration experience
Command of T-SQL
SQL experience desired
Knowledge and know-how to fix potential issues, and experience with industry standards for database operations
Familiarity with query coding and relational databases
Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role
