Description We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. This role is crucial in our IT department, where you will be responsible for providing technical support to both local and remote users, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining accurate records of technical issues and actions taken. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop support to local and remote users in line with established policies and procedures

• Identify, research, and resolve a variety of computer hardware and software issues

• Implement appropriate solutions to resolve computer problems

• Maintain accurate records of daily data communication transactions, issues, and remedial actions taken

• Monitor user accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Utilize skills in DNS, Active Directory, Desktop Support, PC Desktop - Workstation, Workstations to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Present complex technical information in a concise and understandable format for non-technical users

• Contribute to a dynamic and positive team environment through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role

• Proficient in DNS (Domain Name System)

• Familiar with Active Directory

• Possess strong Desktop Support skills

• Knowledge of PC Desktop - Workstation is required

• Experience with Workstations

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
