Description
Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing company in Cedar Rapids, IA searching for a meticulous and proactive Financial Analyst. This role requires strong Excel and modeling skills to support operational and financial improvements. The Financial Analyst will identify and analyze operational results, partner with Operations, and drive strategic improvements to create substantial business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze operational results to detect opportunities for improvement
Partner with business partners to implement and drive enhancements
Develop strategic relationships
Leverage the role’s core responsibilities to create business value
Measurably improve the operational and financial performance
Deliver insights and results to enhance decision-making processes across the organization
Analyze information requests, assess current sources, and determine the most effective and efficient means to move the business forward
Compile routine and ad-hoc research and analysis
Develop and deliver timely and accurate analytics, budget, reporting and forecasting
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is Finance
2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred however other industry experience will be considered
Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, Formulas, and Standard Reports
Proven ability to deliver accurate and timely analysis
Experience in financial reporting and variance analysis
Experience with data analytics and tools
Strong technical and interpersonal skills
