Description
Robert Half has partnered with a corporate office for a retailer in search of a Sr. Accountant! The Sr. Accountant position is paying $75,000-$90,000 + $5,000 bonus! This role is also offering unlimited PTO and a great benefits package!
The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Maintain financial records in accordance with IRS rules and GAAP
Apply ASC 842 to Operating and Finance Leases
Record and maintain Fixed Assets for the company portfolio, including depreciation, acquisitions, disposals, and respective schedules
Coordinate capital expenditure process and handle fixed assets subsidiary ledger accounting
Prepare adjusting journal entries for the month-end close
Prepare lease-related disclosures for financial statements
Assist in the preparation of corporate income tax returns
Requirements for the Sr. Accountant include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of full cycle accounting experience
ASC 842 lease accounting experience
