Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk located in Cerritos, California. The core function of this role revolves around the processing of customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The candidate will also monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain up-to-date and precise records of customer credit

• Efficiently handle and resolve customer inquiries related to credit

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and identify delinquent accounts

• Take appropriate action to collect on overdue payments

• Understand why customers aren’t paying and work to resolve the issue(s) to ensure payment is received

• Utilize skills in B2B collections, Collections - Commercial, and Commercial Collections

• Apply knowledge of Collection Processes and Credit - Collections in daily tasks

• Adhere to credit and collection processes to ensure consistency and accuracy

• Employ analytical skills to assess credit records and take necessary actions.

Requirements • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience in B2B collections and commercial collections is required.

• Knowledge of consumer collections and credit collections is essential.

• Familiarity with collection processes is a must.

• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in using inventory management software and other related computer applications.

• Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Understanding of and adherence to compliance regulations related to inventory management.

• Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, such as lifting and moving inventory items.

• Flexibility to work in various shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
