Robert Half International Business to Business AR Specialist in CHADDS FORD, Pennsylvania
Description Join the accounting and finance team of a locally owned commodities company currently going through tremendous growth. This is a long-term contract to a full-time opportunity that is remote, and will possibly return onsite in the future. Reporting to the AR Manager, this role will work alongside the other specialists to handle full-cycle, high-volume AR. What you get to do every day:
Use the Accounting System to validate sales order/invoicing data and create invoices daily.
Process, post, and deliver customer invoices via the customer-preferred method of receipt (web portal, email, EDI, or mail).
Enter customer payments and match to outstanding invoices. Post daily AR cash receipts and record all discounts and allowances (D& A) taken by the customer.
Manage a business-to-business collections portfolio spanning 30 - 120 days outstanding, striving for timely collections.
Communicate with customers on invoicing and payments discrepancies. Maintain strong customer relationships.
Ensure timely collections on assigned accounts, maintain a clean and current customer aged invoice report, and communicate any issues to the AR Manager.
Oversee Customer onboarding which includes account setup, vendor forms, and creating accounts in the customer’s supplier portals.
Competencies and Requirements:
At least 3 years of demonstrated success in Accounts Receivable and business-to-business collections.
High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred.
Detail-oriented, detail oriented attitude, and reliable.
Proficient in managing Excel spreadsheets and utilizing formulas.
