Robert Half is partnering with a great client in Chandler, AZ to help fill a billing specialist role. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer invoices with a high level of complexity across multiple accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer invoices based on data submitted either electronically or manually from specified business units.

• Understand contract terms and conditions to enter invoice data into the appropriate invoice database(s) timely and accurately.

• Verify/reconcile all billing documents, work closely with operations staff and the billing management to ensure accuracy and that all documents are complete.

• Act as an informational resource for internal and external customers, managing inquiries concerning billing documentation, invoices, and adjustments.

• Handle customer and business unit invoice disputes to resolution.

• Work closely with credit/collections team to resolve short pays and uncollected invoices.

• Maintain complete, comprehensive, and current billing files and invoice backup information.

• Prepare invoice adjustments as instructed and subject to management approval.

• Produce reports from the accounting systems according to schedule and upon request.

• Review the calculation of accruals for all unbilled revenue during month-end closing process.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrable experience in Accounting Functions

• Proven expertise in Billing Functions

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Familiarity with the Transport industry

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
