Robert Half PC Technician in Chandler, Arizona
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, located in Chandler, Arizona. This position will require the individual to apply their technical skills in a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of computer hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the setup and configuration of computer systems and networks
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that our users encounter
• Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
• Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
• Create and verify backups of data, while also responding to and resolving help desk requests
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
• Install and test computer-related equipment
• Utilize Dell Technologies for various tasks and procedures
• Maintain an understanding of Microsoft systems and Networking
• Use Active Directory for various functions including the management of user accounts. Requirements • Proficiency in using Dell Technologies
• Experience in Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) systems
• Expertise in Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of Networking principles
• Familiarity with various Operating Systems
• Proficiency in Active Directory management
• Understanding of Computer Hardware components and troubleshooting
• Ability to perform Configuration Management tasks
• Experience in Deployments of software and hardware
