Robert Half Management Resources are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join one of our clients on an interim basis. The responsibilities of the role include planning and coordinating audit activities, financial reporting, and budgeting procedures in the company. The successful candidate will also be instrumental in the development and implementation of financial systems and procedures at a senior level.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of accurate financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. • Coordinate and execute annual audits.

• Develop and maintain relationship with external auditors and handle any financial irregularities as they arise.

• Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances.

• Prepare budget forecasts and oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities.

• Keep up to date with changes in financial regulations and legislation.

• Mentor and guide entry level staff in their tasks.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance.

• CPA or ACCA certification is required.

• A minimum of 7 years' experience in managerial accounting and financial management roles.

• Strong knowledge of tax laws and GAAP regulations.

• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in NetSuite is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to strategize for better financial forecasting.

• Exceptional leadership skills with a commitment to achieve team goals.
