Description
We are offering a contract for a Sr. Event Planner position in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As part of the job, you will be expected to handle tasks related to event planning, budget processes, calendar management, and travel arrangements coordination.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute special events, ensuring smooth conduct and success
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for financial management related to events
• Manage the calendar effectively, scheduling and organizing meetings and conference calls
• Coordinate detailed travel and accommodation arrangements, both domestic and international
• Use Concur and CRM for efficient management of expenses and customer relationships, respectively
• Create and manage banner ads for event promotion and marketing
• Oversee budget processes to ensure financial efficiency for each event
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of each event, from planning to execution to post-event analysis
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
• 8-10 years of extensive event planning
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is a must for accurate financial planning and budgeting for events.
• Experience with Banner Ads is required for effective advertising and promotion of events.
• Knowledge of Concur is needed for efficient expense management and reporting.
• Familiarity with CRM software is crucial for managing client relationships and maintaining event attendee databases.
• Understanding of budget processes to ensure cost-effective planning and execution of events.
• Excellent calendar management skills to efficiently schedule and coordinate events and meetings.
• Ability to handle conference calls for effective communication with clients and team members.
• Proven experience in Special Event Planning to ensure memorable and successful events.
• Strong background in Event Planning, including logistics, venue selection, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to book travel arrangements for event attendees or team members, if required.
• Competence in coordinating travel arrangements, including accommodations and transportation.
• Attention to detail in planning travel itineraries, particularly for international events.
• Experience with international travel arrangements, including understanding of visa processes and cultural nuances.
