Robert Half Consumer Lending Specialist in Charleston, South Carolina
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Consumer Lending Specialist in the financial services industry in Charleston, South Carolina. You will be involved in various customer-oriented tasks, ensuring a positive customer experience and contributing to our sales goals.
Responsibilities:
• Originate consumer loans and complete loan applications with accuracy
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance the customer experience
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as required
• Contribute to meeting sales goals through proactive customer engagement
• Uphold detail oriented communication standards in all interactions with customers
• Ensure adherence to Fair Debt Collection Practices
• Implement effective collection processes for consumer accounts
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer credit histories
• Continually enhance skills through on-the-job training for internal advancement. Requirements • Proficiency in Collections - Consumer and Collection Processes
• Experience in Credit - Collections and Fair Debt Collection Practices
• Familiarity with Debt Collection procedures
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Must have working knowledge of financial services industry
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology would be advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to work with employees at all levels
• Proven track record in a Consumer Lending Specialist role or similar in the Financial Services industry.
