Description
Robert Half is partnering with one of their well-established construction clients on their recruitment efforts to find a full-time, direct hire, Accounting Clerk to support their Superintendent.

Starting Salary: $55,000 - $75,00
Responsibilities:
• Manage customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account monitoring
• Process customer applications in an accurate and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate customer records for future references
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Process invoices and perform data entry tasks as required
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as per the company's policies
• Perform billing tasks, ensuring all bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner
• Use Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role in the construction industry
• Proficient in account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR)
• Experience with billing processes and invoice processing
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
