Description
Robert Half is partnering with a highly respected global client that is currently undergoing a significant Workday implementation across their organization. We are seeking an experienced Workday Systems Specialist with a deep knowledge in accounting and finance. This is a tremendous opportunity for a talented individual who has the ability to successfully drive the Workday system implementation and support post go-live activities. Your previous experience with the Workday platform will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Participate and facilitate all phases of the Workday implementation project lifecycle; initiate planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Work closely with the implementation team to understand the current accounting and finance processes and map those processes to Workday functionality.
Analyze complex business needs and provide guidance on how best to meet those needs using Workday finance and accounting modules.
Lead Workday configuration and testing efforts to ensure high quality solution delivery.
Provide post-implementation support of the Workday application, including responding to user inquiries, problem diagnosis, resolutions development, and system modifications.
Regularly review system enhancements and recommend necessary configurations and security updates.
Support motorization efforts by creating reports and analytics to provide insights and support decision making.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience implementing, configuring and supporting Workday application, specifically within the finance and accounting modules.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements is essential.
Workday certifications are desirable, but not required.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
Superior communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from end users to C-level executives.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proven team player with a positive attitude and flexibility to manage varying responsibilities.
