Description
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist - Legal Billing Experience Required
Robert Half is proud to partner with a dynamic multi-billion-dollar firm to recruit an Accounts Payable Specialist with particular experience in handling legal services billing. Knowledge of LEDES, BillingPoint, and/or Legal Tracker software is particularly desired, as the successful candidate will be managing a high volume of law firm invoices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accurately processing, verifying, and reconciling law firm invoices in a timely manner.
Ensuring compliance with LEDES file format for electronic billing.
Effectively using BillingPoint or Legal Tracker software for invoice processing and tracking.
Maintaining comprehensive digital records.
Preparing and sharing report on invoice statuses, disputes, and rebillings.
Liaising with law firms and internal teams in a professional manner.
Assisting in preparation for external audit and completing monthly account analysis.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounts payable roles, preferably in a law firm or legal department.
In-depth understanding of LEDES electronic billing format.
Proficiency in BillingPoint and/or Legal Tracker software.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
