Robert Half CFO - Chief Financial Officer in Charlotte, North Carolina
Description A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the company for an interim opportunity.This contract CFO position will oversee all finance, accounting, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax, contract administration, Information Technology, legal administrative, building maintenance and facilities functions. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall financial health and well-being of the organization.
Responsibilities
Strategically manage the Accounting and Finance functions
Govern accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Maintain relationships with investors and investment institutions
Create ways to improve the integrity of a company's financial information
Control independent auditor relationships
Supervise implementations and upgrades for financial systems
Identify and resolve business risks and insurance requirements Requirements - Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior accounting/finance position
Demonstrate proficiency with accounting software and other computer software
CPA designation or MBA highly preferred
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact effectively and clearly in a fast-changing environment
