Where We Need You:
The Charlotte office is seeking a Technology Service Delivery Senior Consultant to join our growing team.
What You Can Expect:
The Senior Consultant coaches Interns, Consultants, and facilitates the successful completion of project work plans. Serving as both role model and trainer, the Senior Consultant demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency. The Senior Consultant learns to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve efficiencies. Relationships with client personnel and professional associates strengthen as the ability to communicate, gain trust and network improves. At the direction of managers, the Senior Consultant may accept responsibility for decision-making, ranging from staffing and preparation of deliverables to application of methodologies.
What Will Help You Be Successful:
Experience working in a large financial institution dir ectly involved in Mission Control Software/Infrastructure Operation support function
Experience in Incident, Event, and Problem Management across multiple domains
Experience in Unix Scripting, Run-book Procedure Execution, job restarts, and patching
Experience supporting ECHO ticketing tool and procedures; managing high ticket volume, resolv e/triage issues
Coordinate with subject matter expe r ts (both application teams and network teams) and escalate as needed
V erbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations.
Knowledge of Splunk; AppDynamics; WebSphere, Java , Echo
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required.
5+ years’ experience at a big bank or equivalent production support
Working knowledge of Autosys, BCM Remedy/Service Now, AppDynamics, Splunk, and other availability management tools
Self-disciplined, self-motivated and action oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
Previous experience with FSI products/service areas including but not limited to commercial banking, capital markets, bank cards/payments, insurance, asset management or broker-dealer
