Robert Half is working with a stable, yet growing company that is looking for a Director of Finance to join their team.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to lead our finance department and play a pivotal role in continuing to shape the financial strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and a seasoned financial professional who can navigate the complexities of a growing business. In this role, you will provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to the finance team while working closely with senior executives to drive financial performance, optimize processes, and support our long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with their growth objectives and ensures sustainable financial health.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to provide accurate and timely insights into the company's financial performance.

  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively, ensuring the company's financial stability.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and external stakeholders.

  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, both domestically and internationally.

  • Capital Management: Manage capital allocation, including capital raising, investment decisions, and cash flow management to optimize returns and support growth.

  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Play a key role in evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions, conducting due diligence, and overseeing integration efforts when necessary.

  • Financial Systems and Technology: Stay current with financial technology trends and oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools.

  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience

  • Experience working with a private equity backed company

  • Proven track record of leading financial teams and driving financial performance.

  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with international finance and accounting standards.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus.

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred
