Description This position is for a Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working as part of a team. Skilled Financial Analyst candidates will be interested in this opportunity through Robert Half Finance to join a thriving company. The Financial Analyst will manage financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. The Financial Analyst will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This role via Robert Half Finance provides an exciting opportunity to perform in a business partner capacity in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management with fellow colleagues. What you get to do every day
Have a thorough understanding of internal and external drivers and be able to explain how they are impacting performance and trending
Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r
Edit and manage forecasting reports
Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Support Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting
An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support
Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution
Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly Requirements - 3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Background in financial analysis and planning
Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Budget forecasting experience
Analysis experience desired
Deep understanding of QuickBooks
Microsoft Excel experience
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
