Robert Half Financial Data Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description We are in search of a Financial Data Analyst to join our team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is in the service industry and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Financial Data Analyst, you will be expected to use your strong analytical skills to review and detect potential fraud in financial data. Additionally, you will be tasked with producing reports of your findings and providing advisory support to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing large sets of financial data to detect potential fraud and irregularities.

• Utilizing Data Science techniques and tools to enhance the efficiency of fraud detection processes.

• Developing and implementing statistical models to aid in decision-making processes.

• Creating detailed reports on findings and presenting these findings to relevant stakeholders.

• Advising the team based on data analysis findings and suggesting improvements where necessary.

• Leveraging your skill set in 'Fraud Analytics' and 'Analytical datasets' to strengthen the fraud detection process.

• Constantly updating your knowledge and staying current with the latest industry trends and practices.

• Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure effective and accurate data analysis.

• Ensuring all data handling and analysis processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Providing insights and recommendations on how to improve existing processes and systems based on data analysis. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field

• Proven expertise in Fraud Analytics

• Proficiency in using Data Science tools and methodologies

• Experience in working with Analytical datasets

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in using financial software and databases

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Advanced knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Experience in financial modeling and analysis

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
