Robert Half Front End Developer in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced front-end developer who can operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will have the ability to grow and learn, and use your skills and knowledge to advance the company. There is also room for growth in your role. Responsibilities Implement from scratch or enhance our client's React applications in a timely and high-quality manner Gain experience in ecommerce technologies used by Commerce Architects, including AWS and GCP Provide code reviews and mentor fellow team members Advocate for best practices & design patterns to ensure high performing, maintainable applications Proficiently deliver features in the client's technology of choice in a timely and high-quality manner Have a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to evaluate and make recommendations on build processes Be proficient in core consulting technologies: version control, IDE, Linux, networking, security Implement unit tests to ensure code quality Be a resource for entry level team members for questions on implementation strategies Lead frontend portion of application development and deployment Subject matter expert on frontend implementations, including working with design teams and web services teams to ensure usability, modular code/components, and scalable solutions Be well versed in agile SDLC processes and will work in client processes to move work from development through to production Requirements Qualifications 3-5 years of JavaScript / Node.js development Expertise with Javascript Proficient in the use of PHP and Laravel At least two years of React development and experience leading a team of frontend engineers Server-side React frameworks like Next.js are a plus Ability to quickly gain knowledge in new technologies Demonstrate proficiency in delivering code to production Team player, ensuring work is completed on time using excellent software design Excellent understanding of Software Development Life-cycles, and in particular Agile development approaches Proven ability to mentor other team members Demonstrate full life-cycle ownership of software and will work to instill this same responsibility in other team members by example Excellent organizational & time management abilities Effortless collaboration with various team members
