Robert Half HR Generalist in Charlotte, North Carolina
Description Our well-regarded client is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join their team. The HR Generalist is responsible for completing a wide variety of assignments to support critical operations of the HR department. The primary functions of this role will involve comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees. Responsibilities
Administer appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addresses employee grievances
Craft official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
Create employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees experience
Shape onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Team up with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
Craft employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
Preserve physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
Produce a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections
Use HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration
Assess employee performance and appraises their pay scale accordingly Requirements - Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
Trained in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus
1+ years of human resources experience
