Robert Half Income Tax Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina
Robert Half is looking for an Income Tax Manager to join our client! This Income Tax Manager will be an expert in tax returns and financial statements, and have strong skills in Excel and tax software. If you are an experienced Income Tax Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.
Help with planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
Assemble and analyze complicated income tax returns- Help with compliance of tax and financial reporting procedures and policies
Produce and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
Review and supervise the preparation of quarterly tax projections, and communicate required estimated tax payments
Supervise and review quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Help review all financial statements for quality control
Ensure accurate calculation of W-2s and 1099s and assist in distribution
Convey tax best business practices to accounting managers and staff accountants
Requirements - Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
2+ years of supervisory experience
5-7 years' experience in tax accounting
