Robert Half IT Contracts Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description

Draft, review, and negotiate IT contracts, including software licenses, service agreements, and hardware purchase agreements.

Maintain and update a centralized repository of all IT contracts and related documents.

Monitor contract performance, ensuring all terms and conditions are met, and manage contract renewals and terminations.

Build and maintain positive relationships with IT vendors and suppliers.

Evaluate vendor performance against contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs).

Address and resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.

Assist the procurement team in identifying and evaluating potential IT vendors.

Support the development and execution of procurement strategies and processes.

Ensure procurement activities align with organizational goals, budget constraints, and compliance requirements.

Ensure all IT contracts adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Stay updated on changes in contract law and industry-specific regulations affecting IT procurement.

Identify potential risks associated with IT contracts and vendor relationships.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and practices.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, legal, finance, and operations teams, to understand and address their contract needs.

Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on contract-related issues and best practices.

Identify opportunities to improve contract management processes and systems.

Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the IT industry.

Strong understanding of IT products, services, and market trends.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in contract management software and tools.

Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to IT contracts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
