Description
We are offering a contract for a long-term employment opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer in the Financial Services industry, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide valuable support to our team, troubleshoot technical issues, assist in onboarding processes, and work on the development of best practices and tools for internal troubleshooting processes.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver efficient troubleshooting of hardware, software applications, and networking issues.
• Assist in the integration of systems and processes with our parent company through the design and execution of IT projects.
• Act as a point of escalation for the team and users, ensuring timely resolution to problems.
• Support users in resolving problems with IT and third-party systems.
• Develop and document best practices, tools, and tips to enhance internal troubleshooting processes.
• Contribute to the team's productivity by handling technical issues, with a focus on G Suite and Okta support.
• Develop processes for reviewing, testing, documenting, and improving practices around security, automation, and issue response.
• Engage with partners throughout the organization to proactively address concerns and technical pain points.
• Assist in machine provisioning, onboarding, and other key processes.
Requirements • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for regular interaction with clients and team members.
• Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT operations.
• Proven ability in delivering high-quality IT services and solutions.
• Experience in designing and implementing IT security measures.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
• Experience in handling the onboarding process of new clients or systems.
• Knowledge of financial services industry, particularly understanding of credit systems.
• Demonstrated ability to progress projects and meet deliverables within set timelines.
• Proficiency in networking, ensuring smooth and productive IT operations.
• Familiarity with standard industry practices and implementation of best practices.
• Experience in processing purchase orders and liaising with partners.
• Proven track record in resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in JIRA for managing tasks and projects.
• Knowledge of computer hardware for troubleshooting and addressing related issues.
