Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a media buyer for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Media Buyer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and purchasing advertising space across various media channels to maximize the impact of our clients' campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement media buying strategies to meet client objectives and maximize ROI.
Conduct market research to identify target audiences and evaluate the effectiveness of different media channels.
Negotiate and purchase advertising space across various platforms, including TV, radio, print, digital, and social media.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure alignment between media strategy and creative execution.
Maintain strong relationships with media vendors and negotiate favorable rates and terms.
Prepare and present detailed reports on media buying activities and campaign performance to clients and internal stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging media channels, and competitive landscape.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Media Buyer or similar role in the advertising industry.
Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and analytics.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in media buying software and digital marketing tools.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of current advertising trends and best practices.
