Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a junior production designer for one of our top clients in Charlotte, NC!
Job Summary:
As a Junior Production Designer, you will work closely with our creative team to assist in the production of visual assets, ensuring they align with our brand guidelines and meet the high standards expected by our clients. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and a desire to grow within the field of production design.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Design Production: Support the Senior Production Designer and design team in the creation of visual assets for digital and print media, including advertisements, social media graphics, brochures, and packaging.
Prepare Files for Production: Ensure all design files are correctly formatted, organized, and ready for print or digital publication. This includes resizing, retouching, and color correcting images as needed.
Adhere to Brand Guidelines: Maintain consistency in visual style and branding across all projects by adhering to established brand guidelines and templates.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet business objectives.
Stay Updated on Design Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to design projects.
Quality Control: Review and proof designs to ensure they are free of errors and meet project specifications before final delivery.
Manage Multiple Projects: Handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a design or production role, preferably within a creative agency or in-house design team.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with other design software like Sketch or Figma is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot errors in design, layout, and typography.
Creativity: A strong creative flair with the ability to contribute to the brainstorming and ideation process.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively within a team.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
