Robert Half is seeking a Property Accountant for our client! The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. What you get to do every day
Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end financial statements/reporting packages
Analyze financial data and summarize in a clear, useful manner
Create complex account reconciliations and journal entries
Manage capital lease and monthly payment schedules
Assist in the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls
Sustain fixed-asset ledger, depreciation and reconciliation
Requirements
BS in Accounting/Finance along with 1+ years of experience in property accounting
Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
Experience with industry specific accounting software (Yardi, MRI, or RealPage)
Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
