Robert Half Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role focuses on designing and developing business applications to enhance stakeholder experience using open-source technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be expected to code in Java Scala and other related technologies, using frameworks like Docker SBT etc.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop business applications to enhance stakeholder experience.
• Follow best practices and use state-of-the-art tools to create maintainable, modular, and high-performing code.
• Code in Java Scala and other related technologies using frameworks like Docker SBT.
• Work closely with stakeholders throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
• Build reusable components by using Docker along with CircleCI.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Gain hands-on experience working on high impact projects.
• Leverage your deep understanding of the requirement with the Technical Leader.
• Implement features using Java or Scala and own projects along with the complete software development lifecycle.
• Work closely with team members to build scalable features and systems. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in software engineering and backend development
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, R Code, and Scala
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices within the industry
• Experience with software development tools like Docker and Circleci
• Ability to develop and implement automation strategies for optimization purposes
• Knowledge in component selection, migration, module, and framework for software development
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality software deliverables
• Familiarity with credit systems and brand awareness strategies
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
• Experience in business application development
• Ability to create and execute validation plans
• Understanding of scalability issues and their solutions in the context of software engineering
