Robert Half SQL Data Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina
Description
Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
Design and maintain database structures and schemas to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Create advanced Excel models and spreadsheets to summarize and visualize data for reporting purposes.
Design, develop, and deploy SSRS reports to communicate key insights and findings to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS for data integration and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis and generate insights to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a SQL Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on SQL and T-SQL.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report development and visualization.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate results.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling is a plus.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar are desirable.
