Description
You will use your knowledge and skills to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and manage internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates with strong analytical skills and a preference for challenging and fast-paced work environments will be successful in this position. Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Requirements
Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of account reconciliation
Deep understanding of auditing
Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
Financial reporting experience
Practical knowledge of Public Accounting
Experience with cash management
Proven knowledge of US GAAP
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Skilled with ERP systems
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
