Description
We have a vacancy for a Senior Accountant position for a permanent opportunity in the FS Real Estate Fund industry in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, this Senior Accountant role is with a company in the FS Real Estate Fund field.
Responsibilities
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
